Dardo is an international magazine of contemporary visual culture, published in Spanish, Portuguese and English and particularly dealing with the Spain, Portugal and Brazil axis. It is published every four months by Artedardo and is internationally distributed by Dardo and Comercial Atheneum. It is not based on current events, but on the history of art itself and on the relationships that may be established between artists from different generations and contexts. Its directors are David Barro and Paulo Reis, and the magazine works with major international authors on the international scene with unpublished texts that help towards forming different readings from a current standpoint. Included among its collaborators are names such as Michael Hardt, Thierry de Duve, Delfim Sardo, Fernando Castro Flórez, Paul Virilio, Matt Mullican, Robert Kudielka, Lorenzo Mammi, Daniel Canogar, David G. Torres, Oriana Baddeley, Moacir dos Anjos, Nelson Brissac Peixoto, António Pinto Ribeiro, Kathrin Becker and Hans Belting. |
